Medable has partnered with CVS Health to offer clinical trial access to patients at certain walk-in CVS clinics.

The initiative will offer patients the opportunity to participate in clinical trials at select MinuteClinics using Medable’s software platform and will be under the purview of CVS Health’s Clinical Trial Services. The clinical trials division is focused on offering innovative, decentralized options for phase 3 trials, postmarket trials and real-world evidence studies.

More than 40 percent of the populations that are not fully represented in clinical research today live within five miles of a CVS Pharmacy, according to Tony Clapsis, general manager and senior vice president of CVS Health Clinical Trial Services.
