Modernized CT.Gov Site’s Beta Will Be Ready by Year’s End
The overhauled version of the ClinicalTrials.gov website will be ready for beta testing at the end of the year, the NIH confirmed last week in a webinar.
The beta release aims to introduce the modernized platform that’s been in the works since 2019 to give trial data submitters and end-users a better experience.
Users will still be able to use the current version of the site while the beta is being tested but are encouraged to give the revamped site a spin. Users can expect the new version of the site to be released later in 2022.
CT.gov sees a massive amount of traffic on a monthly basis. According to April 2019 statistics, it receives 215 million page views per month and 145,000 unique visitors daily. It currently contains more than 391,000 study records, with more than 60,000 studies recruiting participants.
