Duke, HumanFirst Team Up on Trials to Assess Digital Technology
The Duke Clinical Research Institute (DCRI) and HumanFirst, a company that offers a decentralized trial platform, have partnered to create the Digital Measures Evaluation Center.
The center will leverage HumanFirst’s remote monitoring solution, Atlas, with DCRI’s expert knowledge of trial design, to create and conduct new trial protocols for evaluating sensors and other digital measures for sponsor partners.
Assessing the accuracy of sensors in collecting digital measures is crucial, the pair said, especially with the COVID-19 pandemic significantly ramping up the adoption of such technology.
