Genentech has launched a coalition of clinical research sites that will work with the company to improve the representation of diverse patient populations in its oncology clinical trials.

The research site coalition is part of the biotech’s 2025 diversity and inclusion commitments, which involve bringing population-specific assessments and inclusive research strategies into all of the company’s clinical development programs.

The coalition will additionally test recruitment and retention approaches and establish best practices others can use to support health equity in the oncology field.
