Omnicare Clinical Research expanded its Scandinavian presence this week with the opening of a new office in Sweden. Based in King of Prussia, Pa., the clinical research organization (CRO) already has offices in Denmark and Finland, as well as 28 other countries worldwide.
“Omnicare Clinical Research continues to expand its worldwide presence through the opening of this new Swedish facility,” said Dale Evans, president and CEO, in a company release.
The CRO provides phase I–IV contract research services, specializing in geriatrics-focused drug studies. Omnicare Clinical Research is a subsidiary of Omnicare, a provider of pharmacy services to long-term and chronic care settings comprising nearly 1.4 million beds in 47 states.
