Datatrak CEO Steps Down
January 23, 2009
After 17 years with the eClinical company, Jeffrey Green has stepped down as CEO of struggling Datatrak in order to pursue “other opportunities,” the company announced Thursday.
Datatrak has been focused on restructuring its operations since mid-2008 when the company appointed a new board chairman interim president and eliminated the position of chief operating officer.
“Since early 2008, Datatrak has revamped its management team allowing for
an influx of new ideas, new strategies and new energy. In that short period of time, the team has
made great strides in re-positioning Datatrak,” said Datatrak’s board chairman Laurence Birch in a company statement.
In July, Datatrak retained Healthcare Growth Partners as a strategic and financial advisor in an effort to increase the company’s value.
Birch will serve as interim CEO while the search for a permanent chief executive is ongoing.
