Elan of Dublin, Ireland, and Wilmington, N.C.-based PPD have formed a global collaboration focused on advancing Elan's clinical programs globally.

Global CRO PPD will act as Elan's primary service provider for all development functions and activities. Elan, a neuroscience-based biotech, will retain ownership of its assets and accountability for decision-making on strategy and progression of individual molecules as well as the overall portfolio.
