Orexigen Therapeutics, a biopharmaceutical company focused on the treatment of obesity, announced the upcoming resignation of Graham Cooper, senior vice president, finance, CFO and treasurer.

The company has named Jay Hagan, senior vice president, corporate development and strategy, as acting CFO.  Since joining Orexigen to lead corporate development in 2009, Hagan has also lead corporate communications and technical operations.
