Aptiv Solutions, a global biopharmaceutical and medical device development services company, has named Michael J. McKelvey, Ph.D., executive vice president and chief operating officer. He is responsible for overseeing the US, European and Japanese clinical operations, as well as the information technology operations.

Dr. McKelvey was president and CEO of eResearchTechnology, and before that worked for Parexel International as corporate senior vice president, clinical research services.
