Boehringer has formally acquired Amgen's biopharmaceutical development and manufacturing facility in Fremont, Calif.

The state-of-the-art facility currently employs more than 300 and consists of more than 200,000 square feet of laboratory, manufacturing and process development space suitable for clinical and market supplies.
