Ohio-based Camargo, a pharmaceutical service provider, has opened an office at North Carolina’s Research Triangle Park (RTP) as a way to access more customers and expand its bio-betters business.

The new office is located in the U.S.’ largest research park with around 170 other pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies also situated there. This density of potential customers was the primary motivation for the investment according to Camargo CEO Ken Phelps.

Phelps said the firm will use the new location to “develop additional vendor and provider relationships, expand service reach, and provide better client access on the east coast.”
