Harmac to create 100 jobs in Ireland
U.S. medical device maker Harmac will create 100 new jobs as part of an expansion in Roscommon, Ireland, says Fierce Medical Devices.
Over the next five years, the company will create the jobs, bringing its total employment to 282. Twenty of those positions have already been filled and recruitment has begun for the rest. In addition, the company is expanding the facility.
"I would like to thank Harmac for its investment in Ireland," IDA Ireland CEO Barry O'Leary says in the release.” This announcement for Roscommon builds on the strong medical device cluster in the Midlands Gateway. The Medical Devices industry is a very important sector and Ireland continues to win a significant share of mobile Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in this area."
