Stryker to cut 142 jobs
May 18, 2011
Global medical technology company Stryker is cutting 142 jobs at an Irish facility in Cork. The jobs will be relocated to China and Malaysia due to competition and cost, reports the Irish Examiner.
Stryker has plans to offer 60 new jobs in the development and production of new endoscopy products over the next four years. The company employs about 2,000 people in Ireland between two plants at Carrigtwohill and another in Limerick.
