MRIGlobal, an international R&D organization has appointed Richard A. Winegar, Ph.D., principal advisor for science.

Dr. Winegar will be responsible for developing and providing technical leadership to programs in life sciences and national security.  He previously directed a number of programs supporting U.S. government biodefense initiatives for MRIGlobal. Dr. Winegar is an expert in microbial forensics with a background in radiation biology and genetic toxicology.
