Huron Consulting expands client base for Click Portal

Huron Consulting Group, a provider of business consulting services, announced that the University of Calgary (U of C) has selected its Click Portal software to streamline and automate key research compliance processes.

U of C will utilize the Click Portal software to automate a variety of processes at the institution, including the university’s Research Ethics Board (REB), Animal Care Committee (ACC) and Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC). In the U.S., the REB is known as the Institutional Review Board (IRB) and the ACC is the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC), respectively.

Researchers engaged in a single study are often widely dispersed among various schools and facilities. With Huron’s Click Portal software, all researchers and administrators, regardless of location, can use a single system and a common user interface to manage all studies requiring REB, ACC or IBC approvals.
