PharmaPros, OmniComm to offer EDC solution packages
PharmaPros, a US-based technology solutions provider focused on data and workflow management in clinical trials, has partnered with electronic data capture (EDC) specialist OmniComm to offer their respective Dataflow Manager and Trial Master products as a bundled capability, according to PharmaTimes.
The combined solution packages EDC technology with integrated, in-stream trial management and reporting.
With integration and interoperability effected through a web services-based application programming interface, other technologies such as interactive voice response (IVR) systems and electronic patient-reported outcomes (ePRO) can easily be plugged into the consolidated solution as needed, PharmaPros pointed out.
Preconfigured as an integrated add-on to OmniComm’s products, Dataflow Manager serves as a cloud-based operational interface to provide “next-generation trial management capabilities and unparalleled data visibility” at program, study, site, subject, visit and form field levels, PharmaPros said.
OmniComm was the first organization to become an official member of PharmaPros’ Adapt technology partnership program, which enables third-party eClinical technologies to be preconfigured for use with Dataflow Manager using cloud-computing technology.
The two companies have already been collaborating for over three years, and they have successfully deployed the integrated solution on more than eight clinical trials through multiple customer engagements.
“The convergence of electronic data capture solutions like our TrialMaster with business intelligence tools like Dataflow Manager will significantly reduce the burden put on our customers to improve clinical trial efficiency while reducing costs,” commented Stephen Johnson, president and chief operating officer of OmniComm.
