Marken has named Dr. Andrea Zobel new senior director of clinical trial distribution operations.

Zorbel previously worked for Parexel International as director clinical logistics Europe, as well as head of the global center of excellence clinical trial supply.

In her new capacity with Marken, Zobel will assume responsibility for all activities within the growing network of Marken operated clinical trial depots once they are completed and qualified for use. She will also manage the relationship with the affiliate depot network.

Zobel will be based in the new Marken Berlin office, which is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2012.
