Aethlon Medical establishes advisory board
Aethlon Medical, a developer of selective therapeutic filtration devices to address life-threatening conditions, has established an Extracorporeal Therapy Scientific advisory board to guide the advancement of the Aethlon Hemopurifier and other therapies developed from the Aethlon Adapt system.
Initial members of the Aethlon Extracorporeal Therapy Scientific advisory board include John Kellum, M.D., whose research spans aspects of critical care nephrology, sepsis and multi-organ failure; Gregory T. A. Kovacs, M.D., Ph.D., who has led and co-led studies on topics from chemical and biological instrumentation to jungle warfare technologies; Nathan Levin, M.D., who has lectured internationally on topics relating to chronic kidney disease and hemodialysis; Hans Dietrich Polaschegg, Ph.D., an internationally respected scientist and authority on medical devices for renal care; Claudio Ronco, M.D., editor in chief of the International Journal of Artificial Organs and established author in the nephrology field; and David Ward, M.D, who is trained in nephrology and renal immunopathology.
