Premier Research expands in Salt Lake City and Phoenix

February 23, 2012

CRO Premier Research Group is opening state-of-the-art clinical research facilities in Phoenix, Ariz., and Salt Lake City, Utah, increasing its testing facilities capacity by 50%.

“We are excited to be expanding our existing clinical research facilities to accommodate more phase I and outpatient studies,” stated Michael Kuss, vice president, analgesia, Premier Research.

The new facilities give Premier Research the capability to reach and house more study volunteers, as well as successfully conduct phase II and III chronic pain, migraine, dysmenorrhea, vaccine, obesity and other models at all of its sites, according to Kuss.

Premier Research has been in the Phoenix market since 1993 and in Salt Lake City since 1999.

In addition to its CRO offerings, Premier Research owns and operates a network of clinical research centers offering clinical site services from phase I proof-of-concept trials to phase IV post-marketing trials, primarily in healthy normal volunteers, acute and chronic pain, rheumatology and neuroscience.
