Genesis Biopharma, a biotechnology company developing targeted cancer immunotherapies, appointed Hans E. Bishop executive chairman of the company's board of directors.

Bishop, who was promoted from director of Genesis Biopharma, most recently served as COO of Dendreon, with responsibility for a number of operational areas of the business including manufacturing and commercial operations. He has also held high positions in Bayer Healthcare and Chiron.
