BRANY to collaborate with U of Miami
May 23, 2012
BRANY (Biomedical Research Alliance of New York) has agreed to provide education content for the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) at the University of Miami for use on their online clinical research training program.
“Continuing education is a key component of maintaining competency among clinical research professionals,” said Kimberly Irvine, executive vice president of operations at BRANY. “We are pleased to collaborate with CITI and have our course content accessible to the organizations, hospitals and learners that rely on CITI for research education.”
CITI’s comprehensive online program will now include exclusive peer reviewed content developed by BRANY on clinical study design and statistical methods, which will be part of a new CITI online program in comprehensive research study design.
“CITI is committed to providing the best in clinical research ethics education,” said Paul Braunschweiger, Ph.D., CITI founder and program director. “This collaboration allows us to offer increasingly robust educational courses to our learners from around the world.”
The new research study design course is expected to launch in early 2013.
