ICR opens new phase I unit in Dallas-Fort Worth area
Independent Clinical Research (ICR) has opened the doors to its two state-of-the-art phase I facilities in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
The new facilities offers sponsors and CROs two options: a 12-bed facility for small-scale studies or a hospital-based unit with 90+ beds for large-scale studies.
“Today as doctors, we have more treatment options than ever before, but we still need more of these medications. To develop these new medications we are obligated to conduct clinical trials,” said Dr. Khalid Mahmood, president and CEO of ICR. “ICR is excited to play a role in early-stage clinical trials so new drugs and devices can quickly gain FDA approval.
ICR, which has been conducting clinical trials for over 7 years in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, has a highly experienced phase I clinical team that consists of a group of research physicians to serve as Investigators, with each one being a leading expert in their respective therapeutic area.
