July 17, 2012
CenterWatch Staff

Tampa, Fla.-based Mission Search International, a healthcare search and physician staffing firm, will acquire Moxie Search Group.

Mission Search places executives, physicians, director/mid-level management, advanced practice clinicians, radiation oncology and specialized oncology professionals for direct hire, interim leadership, locum tenens and long-term contract assignments. Moxie Search Group is a national physician search and staffing organization.

Moxie Search will operate as a specialty physician search and staffing division of Mission Search under the name Mission Search Physician Services. Lee Ann Trelles, owner and operator of Moxie Search, will lead the new division as managing director of physician services. She has more than 25 years of experience providing physician search and staffing services to the healthcare industry.

The acquisition enables Mission Search to expand its healthcare service offerings to include physician specialties and apply its proprietary placement processes to the physician marketplace. It now will be able to offer search and staffing services in more than 25 physician specialties.

The acquisition also will help broaden Mission Search’s status as an Authorized Government Services Provider by enabling it to provide physician staffing services to all government medical facilities including VA Medical Centers and Clinics, Indian Health Service Medical Programs and U.S. Military Medical Treatment Facilities.

Mission Search has 15 years of experience servicing hospitals, medical centers, academic medical centers, oncology facilities, free-standing clinics and physician practices throughout the U.S.
