Apredica, Pfizer ink collaborative research agreement
Apredica, a subsidiary of Cyprotex, a preclinical ADME-Tox services company, has signed a collaborative research agreement with Pfizer, a global research-based pharmaceutical company.
The deal extends over an 18-month period and is split into two stages with the second stage being dependent on certain milestones being achieved. The collaboration is a research-based project which the parties aim to evaluate, further develop and improve several of Cyprotex’s proprietary offerings in the area of predictive toxicology.
“We are delighted to be able to continue our relationship with Pfizer,” said Dr. Anthony Baxter, CEO of Cyprotex. “This collaborative research is beneficial for both companies and allows Cyprotex to remain at the forefront of new approaches in toxicology prediction. Predicting drug-induced toxicity is a challenging field, and we are making significant advances by combining our knowledge with that of our partners and clients.”
