BioElectronics expands clinical research

Frederick, Md.-based BioElectronics, a maker of consumer medical devices for pain and healing, has initiated a series of new clinical trials.
A hernia study is underway at the University Hospital Ghent, Belgium; an osteoarthritis pain study is taking place at the University Hospital G. Martin, in Messina, Italy, on knee pain; and s stud on lower back pain is being conducted at the University of Dunedin, Otago, New Zealand.
"All three clinical studies are randomized, double-blind, placebo controlled studies, and will be a major addition to our portfolio of clinical research," said Ian Rawe Ph.D., BioElectronics’ director of clinical research.
