BBK Worldwide launches Google virtual tours as trial enrollment tool
June 26, 2013
BBK Worldwide, a patient recruitment company, has launched a new online tool that leverages Google virtual tours for patient engagement. The product features 360 degree imaging that provides a virtual tour of locations where clinical research is conducted. This tool offers potential study participants the opportunity to tour the office space in advance, helping set expectations and lessen concerns about participating.
"It allows for potential study participants, family members and loved ones to explore the study location in advance, at their convenience. This is helpful for individuals who may not be familiar with clinical research," said Matthew Stumm, principal, creative & media strategy, BBK Worldwide.
"Virtual tours are a great way to orient patients," commented Patrick McLaughlin, executive director, Anaheim Clinical Trials. "Site staff can spend a lot of time getting patients accustomed to their space—this technology reduces the burden on site staff and frees them up to focus on patient care."
