MedNet Solutions, Heart Imaging Technologies partner

MedNet Solutions, a global life sciences technology company specializing in clinical study management systems, and Heart Imaging Technologies (Heart IT),  providing web-based medical image viewing and management solutions, have  partnered to  integrate Heart IT's WebPAX technology with MedNet's eClinical solutions.  This integration improves the speed, accuracy and efficiency of clinical trials that rely on the collection and analysis of DICOM images.

"In many studies, medical images play a critical role. By embedding our application within MedNet's eClinical offerings, we're able to provide MedNet's customers with a complete end-to-end solution to acquire, transmit and effectively manage all of the medical images associated within any given trial,” said Dr. Robert M. Judd, president of Heart IT. “The best part is that our imaging component is completely web-based and zero-footprint. It does not require the user to download any software to view the images. This new process is a leap ahead of the current manual processes, which are both time-consuming and inefficient."

"We're excited to offer WebPAX as a value-added option within both our iMedNet EDC and ENLIGHTEN solutions," said John M. Robertson, president and chief executive officer of MedNet Solutions. "Integrating WebPAX offers our customers numerous advantages, including easy image uploading; immediate and secure worldwide image access by sites, core labs, CROs and sponsors; and image viewing from within our cloud-based EDC and study management solutions."
