Algorithme Pharma, CRCHUM form alliance
October 30, 2013
Algorithme Pharma, a provider focused on early stage clinical research, has formed an alliance with the University of Montreal Hospital Research Center (CRCHUM), allowing for access to an expanded pool of patients and a new research complex for conducting complex early stage clinical trials.
The partnership also provides access to CRCHUM’s research groups with clinical research experience in oncology, neuroscience, cardio-metabolic diseases and respiratory disorders.
“The need for patient populations for early stage clinical trials continues to increase as drug development companies look for Proof of Concepts (POC) of their lead drug. This partnership will help advance the goal of providing a full spectrum of phase I/IIa clinical research services in a diverse range of patient populations, to meet these growing needs,” said Dr. Marc Lefebvre, vice president, scientific and regulatory affairs, Algorithme Pharma.
