CTCA names Giuseppe Del Priore national director, southeastern regional director

Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA) has announced the appointment of Giuseppe Del Priore, M.D., MPH as the national director of gynecologic oncology. Based out of the CTCA Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Georgia, Del Priore will oversee the organization's national gynecologic oncology practice.

Del Priore has been a Galloway Gynecologic Oncology Fellow at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York and a History of Medicine Fellow at the Osler Library of McGill University in Montreal, Canada. Del Priore is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, as well as gynecologic oncology from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Previously, Del Priore was the director of gynecologic oncology at the Indiana University School of Medicine in Bloomington, Ind., where he also taught and directed its gynecologic oncology fellowship program. While employed there, he was named to U.S. News and World Report's list of "Best Doctors" in 2011 and 2012, and was also named one of Castle Connolly's Top Doctors for the Indianapolis region in 2013.

Del Priore also has been an associate professor at Cornell University Weill College of Medicine, and an attending in gynecology at Northwestern University School of Medicine.
