Altasciences companies receive CRO Leadership Awards

February 19, 2015

Altasciences has announced that its companies, Algorithme Pharma (Montreal, Canada) and Vince & Associates Clinical Research (Kansas), are both 2015 CRO Leadership Award recipients.

“Vince & Associates joined Altasciences in May 2013. Integrating two companies requires a tremendous amount of effort, collaboration and communication; clearly, we have done something right. To be recognized by our clients in such a way is both rewarding and a phenomenal success story for us,” said Chris Perkin, CEO.

The CRO Leadership awards were developed by Life Science Leader magazine to assist life science executives and directors in their vetting process of CROs. The surveys and industry research for this award is managed by Nice Insight, the market research division of That’s Nice.

Nice Insight conducts an annual survey on pharmaceutical outsourcing practices to collect baseline customer awareness and customer perception of 100+ CMOs and 70+ CROs. The annual survey includes 250+ questions and is heavily logic based so that the right respondents are asked the right questions. This year over 2,300 pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical professionals participated in the survey.

Algorithme Pharma was awarded five CRO Leadership Awards in the following categories: Quality, Reliability, Productivity, Regulatory and Innovation. This is the second consecutive year that Algorithme Pharma has been recognized by the industry for its leadership.

This was Vince & Associates Clinical Research’s first experience with the survey and they received six CRO Leadership Awards in the categories of Quality, Productivity, Regulatory, and three awards in different sectors for Innovation.

Algorithme Pharma and Vince & Associates Clinical Research provide comprehensive early stage clinical drug development services in phase I/IIa, including the necessary support services for this critical stage of drug development. While each of these units has maintained their brand identity, they are linked together by a common focus on excellence in customer service while providing quality clinical solutions; all operating under the Altasciences umbrella name.
