WIRB-Copernicus Group (WCG), a provider of regulatory and ethical review services and software to support clinical research, has announced that Stuart Horowitz, Ph.D., M.B.A., its president of institutions and institutional services, has been appointed to the Association of Clinical Research Professionals' (ACRP's) editorial advisory board for a two-year term.

Horowitz will participate in the double-blind peer review process for ACRP's publication Clinical Researcher, and help to maintain the quality of its articles. Clinical Researcher was awarded first prize in the American Society of Association Executives' Gold Circle competition as the best peer-reviewed journal in its budget category.

Together with his fellow board members, Horowitz will endeavor to provide ACRP members with news and information that will enhance their professional development. The board also will ensure that Home Study articles in each issue of Clinical Researcher meet the requirements of Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the California Board of Registered Nursing (CBRN) and other accrediting bodies.
