Pharmaceutical Product Development (PPD) has been recognized for excellence in clinical research by pharmaceutical and biotechnology company executives surveyed for Life Science Leader magazine’s 2015 CRO Leadership Awards.

PPD earned honors for high quality and reliability, based on survey responses from more than 2,300 industry executives responsible for making or influencing decisions to outsource clinical development programs to CROs.

The company spans the value chain of clinical research with integrated phase I-IV services and PPD Laboratories, which offers comprehensive lab services from pharmaceutical discovery through late stage research.

“These awards recognize our talented professionals who are dedicated to providing innovative services that our clients can count on in their efforts to deliver life-changing therapies to patients more quickly and cost-effectively,” said Jay Dixon, senior vice president for global quality and compliance at PPD. “We share our clients’ passion for advancing medical research, and we are committed to collaboration, operational excellence and high-quality service delivery.”

The Life Science Leader CRO Leadership Awards are based on surveys and industry research conducted by Nice Insight, the market research division of That’s Nice, to help the publication’s subscribers assess CROs.
