Schulman Associates IRB, a central IRB in customer service and technology, recently began build-out of its new office space on Laboratory Drive in Research Triangle Park, Durham, N.C. The location will house review board and administrative staff, including IT, operations and customer service professionals.

“This new office enables Schulman to be closer to many of our clients and will help us better serve the research organizations located in this vibrant life sciences community,” said Michael Woods, president, CEO and institutional official at Schulman.

The new space will feature state-of-the-art communication technology infrastructure, enabling discussions among Schulman’s board membership, whose locations are spread across the continent. The technology hub also will help Schulman staff to communicate rapidly with clients and others within the organization in its unwavering commitment to deliver exceptional customer service.

Schulman also plans to create two flexible, multi-purpose meeting spaces dedicated to increasing collaboration across the organization and with others in the research community. These spaces will each accommodate 20-40 people. 

Schulman anticipates the completion of the new office space later in July with occupancy occurring shortly thereafter.
