PRA Health Sciences has appointed Linda Grais, M.D. to the board of directors. Grais also will serve on the audit committee.

Grais has been a member of the board of directors of Ocera Therapeutics since January 2008 and president and chief executive officer of Ocera Therapeutics since June 2012. Previously, Grais was a managing member at InterWest Partners, a venture capital firm. Grais also was a founder and executive vice president of SGX Pharmaceuticals, a drug discovery company focusing on new treatments for cancer.
