Greenphire names senior director of business development
November 30, 2015
Greenphire, a provider of payment technology for the clinical trials industry, has appointed David Horsley as senior director of European business development.
Horsley will be responsible for enhancing and extending Greenphire’s continued presence in Europe, and will play a vital role in identifying new sources of growth for the company.
“Greenphire has a fantastic reputation and has achieved phenomenal success in the relatively short time since its inception,” he said. “The company has developed game-changing payment technology solutions which ensure that not only patients participating in clinical trials, but sites and physicians as well, get paid quickly, on time and accurately. No other company is able to meet these very specific needs of the industry, so I’m very much looking forward to building Greenphire’s relationships with pharmaceutical organizations and CROs across Europe, and in doing so, helping the company continue its impressive journey.”
With more than 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including 15 years working in the clinical trials technology sector, Horsley brings a wealth of specialist knowledge to the position. He has a proven track record in global sales, sales management and business acquisition, having most recently worked as senior director for the Perceptive Partner Program in Parexel’s Perceptive Informatics Division, where he was instrumental in establishing business development operations in the European and Asia-Pacific regions.
Greenphire CEO Jim Murphy said, “Continued expansion in Europe is key to our strategy. David’s wealth of experience and specialized knowledge of the eClinical technology market in the region will serve us well as we work to expand our long-term partnerships and develop new customer relationships. I look forward to the strong contribution he is set to make to the business.”
