Parexel International, a global biopharmaceutical services provider, has announced that International Data Group’s Computerworld named Xavier Flinois, president of Parexel Informatics, a 2016 Premier 100 Technology Leaders honoree.

The Premier 100 spotlights 100 leaders in technology and business for their exceptional technology leadership and innovative approaches to business challenges.

At Parexel, Flinois leads a global team of more than 2,500 technology professionals, including corporate IT and Parexel Informatics. Under his leadership, Parexel continues to strengthen its leadership position as a technology services provider for the life sciences industry. By embracing “SMAC” (social media, mobile, analytics, and cloud) technologies, Parexel Informatics develops solutions that optimize clinical research management processes for clients.

“This award honors Parexel’s long history of innovation in clinical trial technologies and the dedicated Parexel Informatics team,” said Flinois. “At Parexel, our mission is to bring science to the real world by simplifying a client’s journey at every step. Ultimately, our goal is to give our clients the tools to make technology-enabled and data-driven business decisions, helping to reduce risk, increase clinical trial efficiency, and speed time to market for our clients and for patients.”

“The Premier 100 awards program showcases the strategic thinking of an elite group of IT leaders who are using technology to digitally transform their organizations,” said Scot Finnie, editor-in-chief of Computerworld. “These 100 men and women are working hand-in-hand with their business colleagues to give their organizations a competitive edge while giving their employees a place to grow their careers. We’re pleased to recognize their leadership and honor their achievements.”
