Andrew Lloyd & Associates (ALA), an international public relations group for companies and organizations working in life sciences and innovative technologies, and Adebiotech, an independent cross-disciplinary think-tank for biotechnology in France, have signed a partnership agreement to promote interdisciplinary discussion and innovation in the field of biotechnology. In particular, this partnership aims to raise awareness of Adebiotech’s activities amongst specialist audiences interested in developments concerning human and animal health, the environment, energy, food processing, cosmetics, processes and industrial systems, amongst others.

Founded in 2006 and boasting 2,000 members and supporters, Adebiotech leads working groups that result in national scientific conferences in emerging areas with strong societal implications. The organization’s activities include connecting public and private bodies with national and regional institutions, and representatives of civil society. The next event will address the issue of antibiotic resistance. Sponsored by the French Ministry of Social Affairs and Health, the event will play host many main players in the field, who will be addressed by 40 speakers on March 16 and 17 at the Biocitech city complex for healthcare and biotechnology businesses in Romainville, France.

ALA will support and advise Adebiotech on its public relations activities throughout the year, with the aim of raising the organization’s profile and increasing the visibility of its activities and partnerships, as well as its events. In return, ALA will have opportunities to engage with Adebiotech’s network and its members.
