goBalto hits top 20 list of Most Promising Biotech Technology Solution Providers
goBalto, a provider of cloud-based clinical study startup solutions, has earned a spot on the 20 Most Promising Biotech Technology Solution Providers list of 2016 by CIOReview Magazine.
The award selection by honorary industrial experts is based on evaluation of goBalto's specialties in helping clinical trial sponsors and CRO optimize study startup processes and reduce waste, optimization that supports mission critical integration requirements in the eClinical stack and with business applications offering the flexibility and robustness needed to accelerate the clinical trials process.
Study Startup (SSU) refers to a series of steps performed before a clinical trial begins. These typically include activities such as country selection, pre-study visits, site selection and initiation, regulatory document submission, contract and budget negotiations, and enrolling the first patient. Since each of these steps has multiple components, delays in study timelines are commonplace.
"CIOReview's 20 Most Promising Biotech Technology Solution Providers list is a validation from the CIO community as a true expert in biotech, with the list placing the company amongst the top percentile of enterprise ICT vendors in the U.S.," said Jeevan George, managing editor of CIOReview.
"We are honored that our technology has been acknowledged among the best solutions in the industry," said Sujay Jadhav, goBalto's CEO. "The CIOReview Awards' recognition of our software supports our continued efforts, and that of our customers and partners, to advance SSU—leading to greater cost savings and faster market entry, and ultimately enabling valuable therapies to get to patients sooner."
