Bracket launches mobile suite of applications for clinical trials
May 26, 2016
Bracket, a clinical trial technology company and specialty services provider, has released a new suite of mobile applications to support pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies running clinical trials. Bracket Patient Diary, Bracket RTSM and Bracket Analytics are now available for download from iTunes and Google Play.
Bracket Patient Diary is the Company's latest version of a native, downloadable app for patients participating in clinical trials. Bracket Patient Diary allows for patients to report symptoms and complete diaries using a secure app installed on their own smartphone. Bracket Patient Diary helps pharmaceutical companies who would like to use Bring Your Own Device, or BYOD, for patient-reported outcomes in clinical trials.
"As the complexity and data requirements of clinical trials increase, it's essential to have the appropriate tools available for stakeholders who participate in these programs," said Jeff Kinell, chief executive officer for Bracket. "We developed these new tools with the intention of making clinical trials more efficient for pharmaceutical companies, investigator sites and patients."
In conjunction with the new version of Bracket Patient Diary, Bracket is also releasing platform updates to Bracket RTSM, their industry-first native app for managing clinical supplies and randomization in clinical trials, and the first release of Bracket Analytics, a stand-alone tool that gives study managers and sponsors a dashboard of their clinical trial progress. Bracket Diary, Bracket RTSM, and Bracket Analytics are all available for download for iOS and Android smartphones.
