INC Research and the International Academy of Clinical Research launch CRA training program
INC Research and the International Academy of Clinical Research (IAOCR) are collaborating to address the pharmaceutical industry’s ongoing clinical research associate (CRA) shortage. Together they’ve initiated a new competency-based training program for entry-level CRAs. The association is an effort to quell the shrinking pool of qualified CRAs available to monitor clinical trials and help establish a founda-tion for the workforce of the future.
Science 37 secures $31 million to develop decentralized, mobile clinical trials
Science 37, a technology company that offers decentralized end-to-end clinical trial services, has recently secured a notable $31 million for its mobile clinical trials platform. Funded by dRx Capital, Lux Capital, Sanofi and Redmile Group, this Series B financing is aimed at developing and implementing Science 37’s technology—a mobile platform designed to deliver remote clinical trials to patients regardless of geographic location—in an effort to improve patient recruitment and retention in clinical trials while gaining immediate, applicable knowledge for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries.
