PMG Research adds Dr. Claude Jarrett
PMG Research of Wilmington and Wilmington Health have added Dr. Claude Jarrett, M.D., to the team.
Dr. Jarrett specializes in surgical and nonsurgical management of problems of the hand, elbow and shoulder including arthritis, tendon injuries, fractures, sports injuries and trauma. Secondary to his specialized area of medical practice, Dr. Jarrett has published numerous basic science and clinical research articles as well as written several book chapters. Dr. Jarrett not only has a busy clinical practice but also participates in grant funded research projects addressing rotator cuff injuries, shoulder arthritis and upper extremity fractures. He looks forward to growing his practice of clinical research with the PMG Research of Wilmington team.
Dr. Jarrett attended medical school at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL, and completed his Orthopedic Surgery Internship and Residency at Emory University Hospitals. During his training, Dr. Jarrett received several awards for outstanding research in the field of orthopedics.
Dr. Jarrett is interested in all areas of orthopedic clinical research including upper extremities and biologics for tendon healing and osteoarthritis.
