ACRP, CRO Analytics partner on performance analytics

The Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP) announced a joint initiative with CRO Analytics to provide CROs with insight on performance analytics and its role in improving clinical research.

Through the initiative, called ACRP Analytics, ACRP and CRO Analytics will assist ACRP Members and their employers in understanding and employing rigorous service quality measurement to reduce the costs and timelines of clinical trials.

"ACRP Analytics will help all clinical trial stakeholders understand and address the key drivers of clinical trial success," said Jim Kremidas, ACRP executive director. "This initiative complements our efforts to support the clinical research workforce and is in alignment with our mission to promote excellence in clinical research."

ACRP and CRO Analytics will soon conduct a series of free webinars to review the methodology and role of performance analytics using real-world data from ACRP's collaboration with CRO Analytics.

According to a recently published White Paper, "the key drivers of clinical trial quality from a site perspective can be narrowed to five areas with key sub-drivers in each area." The paper goes on to discuss overall industry performance in these areas and the very clear distinction between sponsor and CRO performance.

"We are excited to give ACRP Members and their organizations the ability to drive real change in clinical trial performance," said Peter Malamis, CEO, CRO Analytics. "We know all the stakeholders are frustrated to one degree or another. Performance analytics helps industry break through the inability to better meet deadlines and budgets through rapid root-cause analytics and enabling focus on what truly matters."

As part of the initiative, ACRP Alliance Partner organizations will have access to CRO Analytics' clinical trial performance analytics platform Performer at a discounted rate, with additional incentives available to site networks.
