Cerner, a global provider of healthcare technology, has been named to Forbes magazine's 2017 list of America’s Best Employers. Cerner ranked No. 213 of 500 large employers with more than 5,000 employees. This is the third straight year Cerner has been included.

"Cerner’s associates are our greatest differentiator, so to have them recommend Cerner as one of America’s Best Employers is an accomplishment worth celebrating," said Julie Wilson, executive vice president and chief people officer, Cerner. "Our culture is grounded in unleashing the potential of our people to see tomorrow’s challenges today and encouraging innovation at the intersection of health care and technology. We’re proud of this recognition as an indicator of our continued success in attracting, developing and retaining the world’s best talent to meet the needs of our clients worldwide.”

The top employers comprising the list were chosen by Forbes based on an independent survey conducted by Statista.com. The survey included more than 30,000 American employees working for U.S. companies and institutions with at least 1,000 workers. Respondents were asked how likely they would be to recommend their employer, or any other employer in their industry, to friends or family. More than 1,800 companies were represented in the survey.
