Total Clinical Trial Management, a full service contract research organization, has announced the addition of Michele Baptista to the TCTM executive team as a Vice President, Business Development. The TCTM executive team is responsible for leading strategic corporate and business development efforts.

Michele’s life science experience includes over 25 years of exposure to the challenges of regulatory compliance, human subject protection, subject recruitment, site relationships both private and academia.  Additionally, Michele possesses extensive experience in business management, sales strategy and IRB operations.

Michele is a co-founder of Aspire IRB and served as president until the company was acquired by WIRB-Copernicus Group in 2014. She continued to support business development for Aspire until joining Total Clinical Trial Management. Prior to her position at Aspire, she was the executive director at Biomed IRB for seven years.

Michele currently holds volunteer positions at several organizations, including Women in Bio–San Diego Chapter, ACRP–San Diego Chapter and Rare Science.
