Medable, an application and analytics platform for healthcare, announced Tyler Pugsley has joined the company as Vice President of Life Sciences. Pugsley was the Director of Business Development for IBM Watson Health.
“Medable is leading a new era in clinical research, in which technology enables clinical trials to be taken directly to patients, anytime, anywhere,” said Dr. Michelle Longmire, Medable CEO. “We are excited that Tyler has joined us in our mission to transform the life sciences industry. With our technology and Tyler’s industry experience, we will usher in a new era marked by globally scaled trial participation and better and more true to life data.”
Pugsley comes with a strong understanding of clinical trials and healthcare analytics, having spent the last two years with IBM Watson where he was instrumental in acquiring new pharma, biotech and CRO partners.
“Medable has a truly innovative team and technology which is set to disrupt the $30 billion clinical trial outsourcing market,” said Pugsley. “For years the clinical trials industry has been saddled by legacy technology and workflow inefficiencies.
