Trial Information
Summary: A topical treatment for body psoriasis in adolescents
Eligible patients must have body psoriasis, such as on arms,
legs, chest, or back. Adolescents who have scalp psoriasis but not
body psoriasis are not eligible.
Study requirements and benefits
- Six office visits (some visits require blood draws) with a
board-certified Dermatologist
- Free treatment (investigational topical ointment twice daily)
for up to 8 weeks
- Free Physical exams and lab visits
- Compensation for time and travel
Study restrictions
- No other topical treatment allowed during study treatment
- Protection from sun exposure
- Restricted swimming for the first 3 weeks
Study inclusion/exclusion criteria:
- Male and female 12-17 years old
- Has psoriasis (10-35% BSA) on the arms, legs, chest, or
back
- Is in good general health without vitamin D
deficiency
