Trial Information

Summary: People with complicated skin and skin structure infections are asked to participate in a research study being conducted by Quality of Life Medical Center.

You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:

• Are male or female at least 18 years of age
• Are currently hospitalized with either, an infected ulcer, infected first or second degree burns, major abscess, or deep cellulitis

You may not participate in this study if you:

• Have diabetic foot ulcers
• Have an infected human or animal bite
• Have gangrene
• Are HIV positive
• Have received an organ transplant within the past 6 months
• Are pregnant, breastfeeding, or intend to become pregnant during the study
• Have participated in another research study within the last 30 days
