Trial Information

Summary: Randomized Pilot Trial of Oral Cyclophosphamide versus Oral Cyclophosphamide with Celecoxib for Recurrent or Persistent Epithelial Ovarian, Fallopian Tube or Primary Peritoneal Cancer

You have been asked to participate in this research study because you have ovarian, fallopian tube or primary peritoneal cancer, that has come back after treatment. The purpose of this study is to compare treatment with oral cyclophosphamide to treatment with oral cyclophosphamide plus celecoxib in terms of tumor response (shrinkage of tumor) and side effects to see which treatment is better. Your participation in this study is expected to last at least 8 weeks but may continue longer if your tumor is not getting bigger and you are having no unmanageable side effects. Once you complete treatment, your disease status will be followed indefinitely.
