Summary: Do You Suffer With Chronic Pain Due to Shingles?
Alpine Clinical Research Center in Boulder is conducting a
research study for individuals 18 years of age or older to evaluate
the effectiveness of an investigational medication for
post-herpetic neuralgia. Post-herpetic neuralgia is defined as pain
that lasts longer than 1 month after an acute attack of herpes
zoster (shingles).
All study related medication and tests will be provided at no
cost to you. This is a one time dose study requiring three visits,
one visit requires an 8 hour stay in the research clinic. You will
be compensated up to $200 for your time and travel expenses.
