Summary: Diarrhea Predominant Irritable Bowel Syndrome
A Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled, Randomized, Multicenter
Study to Investigate the Safety and Efficacy of 2mg TID of
Cilansetron Over 12 Weeks Followed by a 4-Week Rerandomized
Treatment Period in Diarrhea-Predominant Irritable Bowel
Syndrome.
You may be eligible to participate in this research trial if
you:
- Are an established diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel
syndrome subject
- Are at least 18 years old
- Do not have evidence of severe cardiovascular, respiratory or
gastrointestinal disease
- Have not received treatment with any experimental drugs within
four weeks prior to the study
- Do not have a history of alcohol or drug abuse
- Are not pregnant or breastfeeding
